Registrations for the EBT open on January 31st 2023 and close on February 17 2023.
Click on the ‘Register’ button to create an account. You will be asked a few short questions which are necessary in order to create your account. Within 30 minutes you will receive a confirmation email, click on the ‘confirm account’ button, otherwise you cannot register for the activities.
You will have a personal profile page, where you can complete your profile. Make sure to do so before February 16th!
You can register for an activity by clicking on the event via the ‘Our Events’ page. An overview of all your registrations can be found on your personal profile.
Yes, this is possible. If this happens, you will be asked to rank your preference. In this way, we will be able to assign you to your preferred activity in case you are selected for multiple overlapping activities.
For some activities, the EBT charges a small participation fee in order to serve the students of Tilburg University in the best way possible. When you click on an event on the ‘Our Events’ page, you can see whether the activity has a participation fee. At the end of the EBT, you will be charged with a SEPA incasso for all activities in which you participated. Please note that any iDEAL or SEPA payments come with a fee which will be added to your bill. Also, note that any penalties for not showing up to an activity will be added to your bill.
In case you have registered yourself for one or more activities and are unexpectedly unable to participate, please de- register yourself by sending an email to [email protected] . The cancellation is free of charge until three working days before the activity takes place. If you do not cancel your registration in time, we will charge fees according to our penalty policy that can be regarded in our Terms & Conditions.
When the participant does not show up at the activity without cancellation, a fine of €20 will be charged. Per extra activity where the participant does cancel too late an extra €5 will be charged. Per extra activity where the participant does not show up an extra €10 will be charged on top of the €20.
The EBT follows the measures as implemented by the Dutch government. For now, the activities will all take place physically, however this is subject to change and will be communicated timely.
As of 2023, the EBT requires you to upload an anonymous CV next to your regular CV. This system was implemented in order to remove subconscious bias from the selection process. As a result, companies will select participants based on their anonymous CVs.

It depends on the activities you register for. If you register for English activities, make sure to upload an English CV. If you only register for Dutch activities, a Dutch CV is sufficient.
The EBT is open to anyone, therefore all activities that are provided in English are relevant for international students. For the EBT 2023, available activities in English are:
The activities take place at various locations. Check the location of a certain activity on the ‘Our Events’ page or take a look at your personal schedule!
All students from Tilburg University and other universities are welcome to participate in the Economic Business weeks Tilburg. Students from TiSEM and TSB can join all activities, the companies have stated their interest in specific fields of study. Students from other faculties have the possibility to participate in the CV and LinkedIn Checks, Business Night, Training Day, Consultancy Experience, Sustainability Symposium and Company Presentations during the Company Days.
